New items added!

I've gone ahead and added a few new items to my online collection on Second Life. The first is a basic Mutoscope I created in Blender.  While they have a few Mutoscopes in SL, most of them are sort of heavy on the prim count, and often have very limited functionality.  Mine only costs 1LI (technically, it's only .5 LI, but the sim usually rounds up to the nearest integer), and has 13 different mutoscope style 'clips' it can display.  The first one plays in the viewing window on the top of the machine.  Simply click on it and it will play.  The 12 others will pull up in a browser.  Simply click anywhere on the mutoscope  other than the viewing window gives you a menu with twelve different clips to choose from.  Currently I'm offering it for only $5L. Another item I've added is a hoverbot.  I'm trying to set up a alien theme for the ground floor of my arcade sim, and I set up a UFO as a teleport machine.  I found a lovely 1 prim robo...

The Eclectic Arcade One of my many hobbies on Second Life is running a quaint little arcade.  A friend of mine had expressed an interest in recreating the same sort of experience of going to an old style arcade of her youth.  Having myself grown up in the heyday of the video game craze, I rather missed the old arcades of my youth.   Most of the time arcades were offshoots of other businesses, such as miniature golf.  Others were grandiose affairs, such as the arcade named '2001' at a nearby mall: all stainless steel and glass, with two levels, and automated doors.  Definitely would be cliche' now, but in the mid 80's it was rather impressive. Anyway, I digress. I figured that Second Life gave me the opportunity to recreate one of the simple joys of my youth (such as an arcade), without all of the detriments (such as the kids running around screaming about their birthday pizza party and occasionally begging strangers for quarters).  So I set about tryi...
Greetings and salutations! For those who are interested, I am ShadowDragon resident on Second Life.  I've had a lot of different roles while playing in SL, including building various items for use within the virtual environment.  I figure that, since the Second Life Marketplace has a spot to put in a link to a blog, it might actually behoove me to create a blog to put in the location.  I cannot guarantee I will use this very often.  However, I will likely use it for jotting down my ideas, posting files that might be useful for my customers (past, present and hopefully future!), discuss anything I may have in the pipeline, etc. The material I create for SL tends to vary quite a lot, from very simple, low LI builds to things of complexity, from stuff for general audiences to that of a purely mature nature.  Often times they're things that I create mainly to tinker with ideas or concepts, such as trying to create low LI homes (which results in my many 2 prim skybox...
